Trends in Kitchens: Data Gathered From Our 2023 Marketing Events: PT 3

Welcome to Contractor Source’s 2023 Kitchen Trends Report!

At Contractor Source, we’ve been at the forefront of cabinet, countertop, and closet fabrication and installation in Orlando for several years. Our team takes immense pride in staying up to date with the latest industry trends and innovations. As we look back on our marketing events from 2023, we’re excited to share the insights that our marketing team has gathered on the evolving tastes and preferences of homeowners. Unlike the others, rather than a trend of change, this is an observation of continuity.

Once again, every kitchen is unique, and so is every family. If you find yourself personally disagreeing with the “trends” or general consensus, there is NOTHING wrong with that and we would still LOVE to help you make your kitchen your dream space, regardless of whether or not it is “trendy”.

On that note, let’s get to it.

Here is the second prominent trend that we’ve observed:

Trend 2: The timeless elegance and simplicity of shaker cabinets

“A well-loved, class option, Shaker-style cabinets will remain a top kitchen design trend in 2023. Shaker-style cabinet doors are known for their recessed center panel and clean lines. These doors are so versatile they work with various design styles, from traditional to modern.” (https://cabinetdoorsnmore.com/blogs/news/2023-kitchen-design-trends#:~:text=SHAKER%2DSTYLE%20CABINET%20DOORS,kitchen%20design%20trend%20in%202023. ) It looks like our marketing team here in Orlando and Tampa wasn’t the only group noticing the trend!

Here are some facts about the shaker cabinets we sell, from Bob, one of our design experts:

-Plywood box construction

-Solid wood doors and drawers

-Solid wood drawer sides

-No particle board

– All colors are painted, except the Espresso, because it’s stained

-All heavy duty hardware

-All soft close

It’s no wonder that these affordable and high quality pieces have become such a kitchen staple, especially across the south east.
